Suzanne's Brother Philip[edit]

I just find it bewildering and just weird and strange how almost nobody seems to care about whatever happened to Suzanne's youngest brother and Chipman's youngest son, Philip (Brandenburg). Whenever people talk about Floyd or whenever he is interviewed, it seems to me like he's only asked about Suzanne's son Michael. I even read people saying how finding out Sharon is indeed Suzanne brought "closure" to them and "answered all questions". Give me a break. Why is there no apparent interest on what happened to this infant? Right here in the article, his whereabouts being unknown are mentioned briefly in the part about Chipman... the section immediately ends and that's it... we don't hear about that ever again in the article. What is going on? Why does no one seem to be interested in little Philip? Was Floyd ever questioned about this? What has he said? What happened to that little boy? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2600:1700:ED80:8160:E0C3:78B2:17DC:6A25 (talk) 22:48, 16 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Created this article for "the Project"[edit]

This is a very powerful story (in my POV); a child is abducted from an elementary school (at gun-point). The abductor is ultimately caught--but is the child remains missing, and there are conflicting reports. Is the child dead or alive? Surely a Wikipedian with more knowledge on this case can expand this article. Enjoy! ProfessorPaul 04:41, 26 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

"Enjoy"??? I just noticed this article today; I'll flag it as needing some improvements. What is "the Project"? --Ericdn (talk) 07:41, 21 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

C class[edit]

I wish they would retitle these things. It feels like doing a lot of work on an essay and having a teacher slap a C- on it. lol

What things do you feel it is missing/needs changed? Bali88 (talk) 18:23, 2 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Change name of article?[edit]

I'm proposing that we change the name of the article to Franklin Delano Floyd. Hughes is only one part of the story and his disappearance is marginally notable. However, Floyd's crimes definitely are. I'm not sure if anyone else follows this page, but chime in if you do. If I don't hear back in a few days I'll make the change. Sharon![edit]

Sharon has been identified.

Child murderer picture with his victim in loving embrace[edit]

Can someone at Wikipedia please remove the child he abducted from this child murderers picture??? 2601:643:381:2C80:2850:2367:3C45:5790 (talk) 23:01, 6 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I agree this seems like an inappropriate image to use in the lede, and have replaced it with this inmate photo of him from Commons. - Aoidh (talk) 00:39, 7 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
