It's not Soccer[edit]

I agree with the your rewording of the text, but putting it in a defunct 'rugby union' category is also as misleading. I've decategorised it from all categories relating to modern sports and left it as Category:Sports teams in Edinburgh --Pretty Green (talk) 17:13, 17 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Biased?[edit]

"a form of football that did not resemble association football.[1] Nevertheless, the organisation can claim to be the earliest recorded club playing football of any kind" This does not read like the kind of sentence you expect on Wikipedia, and what sources support that it "did not resemble association football"? Certainly not the one given
