April 2014[edit]

Page nominated for deletion as it was obviously created by the subject of the short biography for the purpose of self-promotion. 193.90.242.182 (talk) 17:57, 29 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

October 2015[edit]

This entry was created for self-promotion. It is poorly written and contains little, if any, relevant primary and secondary sources. If you look at the Edit history of the user ("Europersia") who created this Wikipedia entry, and then look at the history of Europersia's own User page, you can see that the entire entry on "Farshid Delshad" existed on Europersia's personal User page at the time this article was created: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Miscellany_for_deletion/User:Europersia — Preceding unsigned comment added by 96.251.26.12 (talkcontribs) 00:42, 27 October 2015

Contested deletion[edit]

This page is not unambiguously promotional, because... (there are trustworthy references. Please take look at the footnotes and annotation and further links in regard to the person) --2602:306:BC5D:DC40:6076:B277:C9DD:7EEA (talk) 21:23, 27 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Contested deletion[edit]

This page is not unambiguously promotional, because... (your reason here) This person is known for writing and publishing several books and also published numerous articles about different subjects in many languages. His name is mentioned in many of wiki's pages like this page that who was mentioned as the first translator of Goergian epic book in Persian https://fa.wikipedia.org/wiki/%D9%BE%D9%84%D9%86%DA%AF%DB%8C%D9%86%D9%87%E2%80%8C%D9%BE%D9%88%D8%B4

Cover of the book translated by him is uploaded on page as well.

here is another article written by him in German about minorities http://www.bpb.de/apuz/31147/religioese-minderheiten-im-iran?p=all

and here is one of his interviews in German http://www.juedische-allgemeine.de/article/view/id/14915

this is his bio in Farsi under known Iranian Jewish intellectuals http://www.7dorim.com/Tasavir/farhangi_Farshid_delshad.asp

Please let me know if you need more links about it. you can find his speeches on line as well. I got to know him when he was giving speech at UCLA and searched more about him and made some changes on this page. now noticed that it might be deleted. I'm new on WIKI so please let me know if I need to take another action

thanks Aviva

This person is not notable.[edit]

This article is a ploy to sell books and create profits for the author. JamshidPakzad (talk) 04:22, 6 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Mr Pakzad, you said you'd never heard about him but did you know that he was the first Persian who translated The Knight in the Panther's Skin, a Georgian medieval epic poem and for that he won a prestigious prize?
