Rewrite[edit]

Because of the largely unfixed issues with this article, I did a complete rewrite of it today. I removed a good deal of the images, including the image gallery. I removed a lot of what still appeared to be a lot of unsourced conjecture and original research. I corrected grammar where and when I could and tried to assimilate the disjointed nature of the article into a better flow and read. Perhaps presumptuously, I've also archived the talk page, because of all the superfluous information that has been added here. I expect to receive comments about this, but I would prefer to receive them here. Remember that this article is and should be about Enfield Automotive. It is not about big oil or politics. I'm aware that Matt was going to help out with this, but I'm also aware that he's gone on a wikibreak. I am not going to debate policy, but I would be glad to help with the addition of any material that I removed, so long as it is germane to the article, verifably sourced and readable. More information[edit]

This BBC article, |The Enfield Thunderbolt: An electric car before its time by Dave Prest from BBC Radio 4, seems to contain information which may conflict with parts of this article. I don't feel suitably knowledgeable about this topic to do more edits! Would appreciate it if another editor with more appropriate knowledge could bring their understanding.
