There is a duplicate page dealing with the same content under the title E-poetry which is the more frequently used term. Sarah the poet 13:46, 24 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

"E-poetry", like "Electronic literature", is largely a USAmerican term, whereas "Digital Poetry" is a term used more internationally. So the categories should not be merged. (—Preceding unsigned comment added by Pointeractive (talk • contribs) )

Digital poetry can take advantage of programmable features such as using Flash or other types of multimedia software, essentially making it more of an art form. E-Poetry can also be an appropriate term, but can get confused with poetry that is simply online, like an e-book. --Csoneji 21:00, 23 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

II would STRONGLY SUGGEST MERGING ALL THIS WITH DIGITAL POETRY. Excuse the yelling font, but there is an urgent need to centralize the discussions and entries regarding this artform.

Hi, I suggest to organize this page by categorizing digital poets in countries, to avoid a simple chaotic list of links. What do you think about? :-)

e-poetry[edit]

Merge?[edit]

Squeezing Net-poetry under Digital Poetry would have been misleading. It existed like Mail Art as an analog form of art before digitalization, and still exists independently. --fluss (talk) 07:27, 16 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

interactive[edit]

"Interactive poetry is limited to a digital medium" -- not so. The original form of poetry, live recitation, allows for interaction with the receiver. There are performance poets who merge their poetry with audience response. 213.109.221.54 (talk) 03:24, 11 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
