Article is about the event[edit]

It's pretty clear this article isn't about Gould, just her confrontation. So it should be renamed (at least).--GRuban (talk) 04:09, 4 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Neveselbert, would you mind moving this back, please? Gould–Thatcher exchange will be meaningless to most people. You're welcome to hold an RM if you disagree. SarahSV (talk) 23:19, 18 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@SlimVirgin: I can't do that myself, although you may request reversal at WP:RMT. (I moved the article to the present title for consistency with the Clinton–Lewinsky scandal format.) Neveselbert (talk · contribs · email) 23:28, 18 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, thanks for explaining. Maybe I should sit with the new title for a few days to see whether it grows on me. My concern is that people won't immediately realize who Thatcher is. Clinton-Lewinsky scandal is considerably better known. In addition, at first glance, "Gould–Thatcher exchange" could be something other than a conversation (e.g. see telephone exchange, base exchange). SarahSV (talk) 23:40, 18 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
