Travel comment[edit]

Having visited Buna in July 2007, it is a great little village situated on the northern beaches of Papua New Guinea. For those who wish to visit the area to study aspects and artifacts of the World War II campaign, there are many opportunities to do so. However it is advisable to be a 'bit of an adventurer' to do so. Adrian, one of the headclans men in the area has built a great little guest house and can arrange to show you around the Buna/Sanananda/ Gona and Oro Bay areas....Lindsay Spittle
