Name[edit]

There are very few English sources discussing this person. The recent translation of the Eric's Chronicle[1] does introduce him (as Bengt), but that's about it. Since there are no English sources, WP:UE advices that the most common Swedish name should be used and the page be moved to Bengt Birgersson. If there are no policy-based objections, I will move this in a week or so. Jähmefyysikko (talk) 14:57, 28 May 2024 (UTC) (Ed. 12:04, 30 May 2024 (UTC), added ”policy-based“)[reply]

I oppose that unneccessary move. --SergeWoodzing (talk) 11:41, 29 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I had missed some English-language sources that mention him. They all use the name Bengt: [2][3][4][5][6]. I see no sources at all that use the name Benedict. Can you find any? Jähmefyysikko (talk) 13:21, 29 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
