This page appears to be a duplicate for Beechey Island, and should probably be deleted. (Don't have an official citation, but Beechey is used in many more references). Also the historical section seems inaccurate (and the reference given here vague). The memorial to Franklin dates to the 1850's (see references on Beechey Island).

Correct spelling confirmed "Beechey Island" retrieved 9-11-08 from National Geographic http://science.nationalgeographic.com/science/enlarge/beechey.html Merging relevant content and placing a redirect.
