Genre[edit]

I noticed that metalcore was listed under genres for this album. I don't think I've ever heard DevilDriver be called a metalcore band. I was wondering where this came from. Parad0x130 (talk) 03:17, 3 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed. Anyone who thinks DevilDriver is a metalcore band has no idea what they're talking about. Also note that I updated the personnel section as the copy I have notes that all the band except Dez play guitar and bass on it. BrianFG (talk) 00:18, 28 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I'd like to propose something... I know the style is pretty much the same as their previous albums... there's just one thing, I think it could possibly be changed from 'melodic' death metal to straight out death metal... I think everyone can agree that this is easily their heaviest album, the melodic cources from songs like clouds over califorina and pray for villans aren't so prominant here... The metalholic and lordsofmetal reviews on the page back me up listing it simply as death metal (Although I admit I'm concerned about their reliablity)... Any thoughts?
