Disputed[edit]

This is as reported in the original source, the Saga of Erick the Red, chapter 12; it may be truth or fiction or partly both, but in either case it justifies an article that will discuss the hypotheses; there is an enormous literature on the subject- -see Vinland DGG ( talk ) 13:30, 24 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed. I've added a "disputed" tag to the article, as the article repeats the account of the as if it is purely factual. I'm also not sure if this name ("Battle of Vinland") is used outside of Wikipedia or if it's an invention. Pburka (talk) 01:05, 11 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
