Bagrat V was married to Helena, daughter of the emperor Basil of Trebizond.[edit]

The linked Basil page does not mention any daughter named Helena. 85.227.226.235 (talk) 21:58, 1 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

need references, to support "20,000 Mongols"[edit]

Timur was a Turk, through and through. His claim to relationship with Genghiz Khan is a complete fraud. His troops - while multi-ethnic - certainly had a vast majority of Central Asian turkic peoples and only a few "Mongols" - where did he get two tumens (20,000) Mongol soldiers from? Anyway, that whole episode needs sourcing from some strong Reliable Sources. 50.111.12.90 (talk) 01:58, 21 November 2020 (UTC) See Timur's invasions of Georgia for a much more accurate depiction of Timur's raids into Georgia - which was almost completely destroyed. This article has a nationalist flavour that handles the event with far too little emphasis on this point.50.111.12.90 (talk) 02:27, 21 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
