A. Haratyunyan is a judge at the ECHR since 17 Dec 2015.

In a letter from Strasbourg court from 17th March 2016 it is stated that

"..that the European Court of Human Rights, sitting in a single judge formation (Harutyunyan assisted by a rapporteur in accordance with Article 24 Par 2 of the Convention) between 25 February 2016 and 10 March 2016, decided to declare your application inadmissible. This decision was delivered on the last mentioned date.

In the lights of all the material in its posession and in so far as the matters complained are within its competence, the court found that the admissibikity criteria set out in Article 34 and 35 of the convention have not been met.

This decision is final. It is not subject to an appeal either to the Grand Chamber or to any other body. The Registry is unable to provide you with any further details concerning the Single Judge's decision. Consequently, you will not receive any further correspondence with this case. In accordance with the Courts's instructions, the file will be destroyed one year after the date of the Single Judge's decision.

The present communication is made pursuant to Rule 52A of the Rules of Court.

Yours faithfully, For the court M. Lafferty Legal Secretary."

What is very Strange:

  1. There has been a previous application that was rejected from M. Lafferty requesting more information about the international EU Proceedings. This judge is neither a citizen of a EU member state neither it seems he has experience with the European Union.
  2. This judge was allowed to make such a fundamental decision between two and less than three months aftnhe has taken up the position.
  3. The charter of fundamental rights require a public hearings. When it comes to decisions from Strasbourg Court this is completely violated.
  4. Whats the role of M. Lafferty who seems to be a british citizen systematically blocking cases against UK?
  5. In the case mentioned there were several hearings at the EU PETI comittee which show that there has been a systematic denial of paternal cintact with the child.

The Human Rights court in Strasbourg was requested to investigate violations of the European Charter of Fundamental Rights. But the Strasbourg court seems not to care.
