Ağdaş, AzerbaijanAgdash, Azerbaijan – Move to "Agdash, Azerbaijan" per WP:UE/WP:COMMONNAME/WP:ENGLISH. Proof of anglicized name being the common name:

Results from Google News: Agdash: 399 Ağdaş: 3

Results from Google Scholar: Agdash: 202 Ağdaş: 134

Individual reliable sources referring to the city as Agdash: World Health Organization, RFE/RL, Vestnik Kavkaza.

This is the same name but an anglicized version. Unlike other small villages, this is a fairly large town, which has made a lot of appearances in English-language media, in most of which, "Agdash" has been used much more, establishing its WP:COMMONNAME. I'd also like to ask the closing admin to give more attention to the arguments being made rather than the vote counts, as there are people who go over each RM and repeat unrelated policies as an "Oppose" argument. — CuriousGolden (T·C) 06:09, 13 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

  • Oppose The anglicized name "Agdash" is obviously WP:PRIMARYTOPIC. So i also recommend it to move a dab page into "Agdash (disambiguation)" over redirect. 36.77.95.114 (talk) 08:50, 13 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
There's ",Azerbaijan" near it for a reason. Your comment makes no sense. — CuriousGolden (T·C) 09:48, 13 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose, again as with all the other RMs per WP:MODERNPLACENAME. Not significant enough for a place on list of English exonyms and current WP:RS such as Lonely Planet 2016 have to be preferred over Soviet era sources and Russian websites. In ictu oculi (talk) 13:14, 13 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Copy-pasting an irrelevant policy to every RM about cities isn't a great argument. WP:MODERNPLACENAME are for when the name of the city has been officially changed to a new name. This is not the case here as "Agdash" is the same name as "Ağdaş" but an anglicized version (it's not the Russian spelling as OP wrongly suggests), which WP:UE tells us to use. World Health Organization, RFE/RL and 202 other Scholarly books/articles wouldn't have mentioned the city if it wasn't significant. — CuriousGolden (T·C) 13:21, 13 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose per WP:MODERNPLACENAME and WP:PRIMARYTOPIC. "Agdash" or "Ağdaş" without disambiguator is primary meaning of the city. So i recommend the dab page to also moved as "Agdash (disambiguation)" or "Ağdaş (disambiguation)" over redirect. 116.206.35.13 (talk) 15:04, 13 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Since this seems to be almost copy-paste of the first IP's comment (possible sock?), just look at my above reply. — CuriousGolden (T·C) 15:13, 13 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
