new article on Captain Adolph S. Oko, Jr.[edit]

This is the start of the article on this important historical figure.

Note that this person is the son of Adolph S. Oko, so any research needs to be sure not to confuse these two persons.

Renato Barahona's book is soon to be published (as of 1/2015), so much more will be readily available for this entry in Wikipedia.

The Exodus affair happened in July 1947 before the establishment of the State of Israel, when Great Britain – that ruled Palestine at the time – curtailed Jewish immigration. The s/s Kefalos brought its immigrants in late 1948 to independent Israel. Hence I recommend to expunge Footnote 1. talk 24 July 2015 Ameme (talk) 07:59, 24 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Separate ship and man?[edit]

Should one article be on the Kefalos and all its names and a separate article on Oko?

Or leave as a single article?MikeVdP (talk) 22:00, 11 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
