Where/how does NAC naturally occur?[edit]

Where NAC naturally occurs is not explained. The article only discusses the use of NAC for cataracts, without giving any details of how it comes to be and any other function it might have. Is it available in foodstuffs? If so, is it bio-available to the body?

NAC?[edit]

NAC has always meant N-Acetylcysteine. Now i'm reading that it means N-Acetylcarnosine? Could someone check this out and maybe put a note in?Longinus876 (talk) 17:31, 18 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
