White Troops[edit]

What exactly are white troops in this political context? The term is used generously in articles but it is never explained. Thanks. 84.128.200.175 (talk)

Armies[edit]

In structure of Northwest front conducted defensive fights to the west and юго-to the west Kaunas and Vilnius. The army has put(rendered) counterstrokes on the opponent in areas Soltsy and Staraya Russa, then defended a boundary to the east of Staraya Russa. In 1942 - the beginning of 1943 participated in Демянских operations. In the beginning of April, 1943 management of army is deduced(removed) in a reserve of Rate ВГК, armies are transferred to 68th Army. In the middle of July, 1943 army (53-rd shooting case, 4-th, 96-th, 260-th, 273-rd and 323-rd shooting divisions, 225-th tank shelfs and other parts) in structure of Western, since July, 30th Bryansk , since October, 24th Belarus fronts participated in Oryol, Bryansk and Гомельско - Речицкой operations. In December, 1943 management of army is disbanded, armies are transferred(transmitted) in other armies.

Commanders: Century I.Morozov (June 1941 - November 1942), the general-lieutenant; Item A.Kurochkin (November 1942 - March 1943), the general-lieutenant; A.I.Lopatin (March - July 1943), the general-lieutenant; I.I.Fedyuninsky (July - December 1943), the general-lieutenant.
