RImatara or Rurutu[edit]

Did the Îles Maria belong to Rimatara or Rurutu in the 19th century? The treaty making Rimatara a protectorate of France in 1889 call it Rimatara's protectorate, but the 1900 treaty of annexation of Rurutu calls it a dependency of Rurutu.
