Supermium is a free and open-source web browser that is a fork of Chromium. The main feature of Supermium is support for old versions of Microsoft Windows that are no longer supported by Chromium; this includes all versions prior to Windows 10,[5] starting with Windows XP.[1][6] Supermium has other features not supported by Chromium, including the Google Chrome Sync service.[4][7]
Supermium has 32-bit and 64-bit executables.[1] The versioning is based on Chromium's.
The developer is Shane Fournier.[1][6] His motivation is "lightweight, highly compatible win32 applications", and his username on GitHub is "win32ss".[8]
