Pvrtie Wayne is Ghanaian Rapper and a Songwriter. Ayertey Patrick Kwasi, popularly known as Pvrtie Wayne is a Ghanaian Hip Hop/Rap and Drill/Grime rapper. He was born on July 18,2004 at Suhum in the Eastern Regional Part of Ghana. Patrick’s first song “Issues” made waves among youngsters in Ghana. His music mostly talks about the harsh life on the street, ups and downs in life and real life stories, personal experiences and fusion of different styles and influences . Patrick was born to a Ga mother and Krobo father. His father, Alex Ayertey Kwame, met his mother, Owusua Nora at the age of 17. When Patrick turned 13, his parents separated and he started living with his father and a younger brother at Suhum,ER. Patrick have three biological brothers, three father-side brothers and two step sisters. Patrick had his Primary school Education at Kuano Bright Preparatory, he then continued his JHS at Suhum M/A Exp. B JHS. Patrick loved Education very much, he got an admission at Ghana Senior High School, Koforidua where he Offered Visual Arts. Patrick started writing songs at the age of 11 after he was influenced by the Rapper, Sarkodie. He used to write Afropop and Hip Hop by then. But after He was introduced to UK Rap Patrick switched from AFROPOP to Drill&Grime and Hip Hop/Rap. Dave, Digga D and Central Cee have been the current role models and public influencers of Patrick. Patrick have had conversations with some popular Ghanaian artistes such as Yhaw Hero, RJZ and Skyface SDW, which he stated that he talked with him on the phone and was nice to him. He started making waves after he teamed up with a young movement called “STRAIGHTUP WIASE”. Due to his good works, Patrick got signed into a new Record Label called Cedix Records. Currently, He works under the management of Cedix Records. Some works of Pvrtie Wayne are Issues, Son of the Slums, No Time For Love and Wavy which features his high school Classmate, Riley Kofi Boasiako under the name “Jnr Skyface”. The name of his father is Alex Ayertey Kwame and his mother is Owusua Nora Korkor. Patrick is also called with other names such as Wayne, Patio , Kritikal , Paa Kwesi, 04 Baby, Son Of Purp and The Rollin Dice.
