He pursued his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the College of Medical Sciences in Bharatpur, Nepal, graduating in 2019. Additionally, he completed a mentorship program at HIMSS New England and obtained certifications from Yale University and Johns Hopkins University.

After completing his compulsory rotational internship at the College of Medical Sciences in Bharatpur, Dr. Pokharel began his professional journey.
