Art for Tomorrow (AfT), is an international conference organized by The Democracy & Culture Foundation. Since its launch in 2015, its been held annually in key cities including Athens, Berlin,[1] Doha and Florence. Art for Tomorrow attracts an international audience of more than 300 delegates from more than 30 countries around the world. It brings together art world experts including museum and auction-house executives, art fair directors, gallerists, curators and dealers.

The conference was launched in 2015 in Doha, Qatar by the New York Times[2] as Art for Tomorrow until 2017, and Art Leaders Network in 2018[1]. Since 2019, the event has been organized by the non-profit organization, The Democracy & Culture Foundation and Art for Tomorrow was relaunched in 2021 in Doha, Qatar and 2022[3] in Athens[4], Greece.

2023 Conference[edit]
Art for Tomorrow[5] took place in Florence and Solomeo,[6] Italy from April 26-30. The theme was ''Can arts be a way out?'' and was held at the St. Regis hotel in Florence[7] and continued on to Solomeo for the weekend. Over 35 speakers attended the five day event, including Suzy Menkes, Journalist; Brunello Cucinelli, Creative Director and C.E.O., Brunello Cucinelli; Amos Gitai, Filmmaker; Ernsto Neto, artist.[8] Attendants witnessed the arts in action though a rich experiential program that included a welcome dinner at the Palazzo Strozzi, tour of a private collectors home and private visits of exhibitions and museums.
2022 Conference[edit]
Art for Tomorrow was held in Athens, Greece from June 16-17 at the Acropolis Museum and the National Gallery and moved to the island of Hydra from June-18-19. Speakers included H. E. Sheikha Al Mayassa Bint Hamad Al Thani, Chairperson of Qatar Museums; artist Jeff Koons; Director of Victoria and Albert Museum, Tristram Hunt; artist KAWS and many more.
