Aksel (Born March 1, 1999), known online as aksually, is an Estonian Twitch streamer and YouTuber known for his gaming content.
Early life[edit]
Aksel was born on March 1, 1999[2] in rural Estonia. He was raised alongside his older sister. His family had a dog named Kubu, who would die when Aksel was five years old.[3]
Career[edit]
Toontown[edit]
Aksel would unknowingly start his content creation journey on Toontown Online. As he played the game, he would meet many popular people in the community, eventually becoming one himself. The most notable of these people would be Quackity. They would become quick friends, eventually deciding to make content together in later years.
Gaming & Commentary[edit]
Aksel would appear in his first video on Quackity's channel in 2017.[4] This would lead to a long list of collaborations between the two. Just a year later, Aksel would upload his first video on his own channel.[5] The video would feature him and Quackity playing the Estonian government's game Ekuubis together.
After a few other uploads, Aksel would upload his first video featuring him and friends reacting to posts on Reddit.[6] This type of content was very popular at the time, leading to him collaborating with popular creators such as WildSpartanz, Hooverr, and kingani.
Following the Reddit content, Aksel would start posting video essay type videos onto his channel. He would cover topics such as children's TV crossovers[7], online games such as Club Penguin[8], and the career of Justin Bieber.[9] He would also continue to upload gaming content at this time.[10]
Twitch streaming[edit]
Aksel would stream for the first time in September 2017.[11] Following his Justin Bieber video on YouTube, he would move to streaming full-time.
He is no longer friends with Quackity,[12] and he instead creates content with other streamers such as Sinjin Drowning, prezoh, and Hooverr.
Other ventures[edit]
COOLDOG podcast[edit]
In 2021, Aksel would start the COOLDOG podcast alongside Hooverr.[13] The podcast would frequently feature their friends as guests. Some notable guests would be James Marriott[14][15], Jacksfilms[16], ConnorEatsPants[17], Weston and Kalynn Koury[18][19][20][21][22], and prezoh.[23][24][25]
Personal life[edit]
Aksel is bisexual.[26] He is fluent in English and Estonian.[27]
