George "Giga" Agladze (born 12 October 1974)[1] is a Georgian screenwriter, movie director, producer, musician and winemaker. Giga is best known for directing the movie "The Other Me" which was released in 2022 with David Lynch as an executive producer.[2][3] Giga also did commercials, music videos, short films and documentary movies[4] One of the best known short films directed by Giga Agladze is a documentary "Alan" dedicated to famous actor Alan Rickman[5]. Other works “Hennessy, Eight Generation” (2016). Giga, in collaboration with Dato Turashvili, “The Iron Curtain” (2008) aired on BBC. “Henry” (2016), “7th Day of May” (2020) and “4 Days for Love” (2021), a documentary about Lynch’s visit to Georgia.[6] Giga Agladze was nominated in the following categories: best screenplay, best film, best producer and he took best producer in Septimius awards in 2022[7]. He is also CEO of the Georgian branch of the David Lynch Foundation and owns music band.[8][9]
