Academy of Music, Theater and Fine Arts (Romanian: Academia de Muzică, Teatru și Arte Plastice) is a public higher education institution from Chisinau (Republic of Moldova). This institution is the successor of the Chisinau State Conservatory founded in 1940 and of the musical education institutions that have been active in Chisinau since 1919, when the "Unirea" conservatory was founded at the initiative of George Enescu.

During its history, the institution has changed its name and structure several times. Initially, studies were conducted only in the field of music at the Conservatory. At the end of the 50s, the first groups of students in the specialty of Acting were established, in 1965, already within the State Institute of Arts (formed on the basis of the Conservatory in 1964), the Department of Directing and the Actor's Art was created, and in 1988 - the Faculty of Art Theatrical (currently Theater Art, Choreography and Multimedia). The Faculty of Fine Arts was founded in 1984. In its current form, the Academy of Music, Theater and Fine Arts was established on the basis of the reorganization of the State University of Arts (established by the merger of the G. Musicescu Academy of Music and the State Institute of Arts in 1999) on September 1, 2002.
