The Amtrak train was a Siemens ACS-64 hauling one baggage car and seven amfleet cars the amtrak was going to mention station at 7:43 going at 50mph

the express train locomotive was a ÖBB Class 1043 the express train was halting 12 cars the express train was going to the same station that the amtrak was going to

the collision

at 6:26 the Amtrak was going at 30mph and was stopped by a broken signal at 6:27 an express train going at 100mph and at 6:28 the express train see's the Amtrak and slammed its brakes at 6:29 the express train slammed into the Amtrak at 90mph ripping the amtrak's fuel tank splashing the fuel onto the first amfleet making it catch on fire tipping it over the express train first car smashed into the rc4 locomotive causing the second car to smash into the first car causing it to fly into the before falling back the ground

aftermath

after the collision, 27 people died in the Amtrak and 10 died in the express train The Amtrak was carrying 55 people and the Express train was carrying 64 people 82 people survived Hohenthurm
