Container category status[edit]

I am not convinced this should be a container category. It currently contains 6 articles, 5 of which describe countries' territorial evolution and which would not obviously fit into one of the sub-categories. The partial exception is Territorial evolution of the Confederate States, which arguably does not describe a country (as the Confederate States were never recognised as being such) and I suppose there could be a case for putting it in Category:Territorial evolution of the United States. However as the others are not going to fit anywhere else, there is an issue as things stand. Dunarc (talk) 22:48, 2 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
