There are different conventions about what to call continents. See Continent. This is the English Wikipedia and in English it's very common to view North America and South America as different continents. Your IP address is Colombian and I don't know the convention there but in an international encyclopedia it's silly to claim that conventions by others are "strictly incorrect" and others "MUST" abide by your own preferred convention.
