GA Review[edit]

On Hold[edit]

The article appears to be of the correct standard for GA, but there are some referencing problems:

  • Ref 11 is a garbled version of this file - [1] which is a copyrighted article only available to those who agree to the terms and conditions of use [2]. Ref 11 is therefore not a valid reference in its current form. If it is intended to use this as a reference then it should be quoted as a journal reference, e.g. of the form: (n/a) (1954). "Presidential Address", In: The Structural Engineer, Vol 32 (No. 1), Pp 1 to 10. (1 January 1954). Where "1 to 10" is replaced by the correct page numbers.
  • Ref 12 appears to be invalid; and it is not clear what is being cited. North East Tonight appears to be a television programme. So presumably a news item was either copied onto VHS by a viewer - in which case the date and time of the broadcast should be given; or Tyne Tees Television released a video tape about the power station, in which case the reference should be of the type represented by ref 15.
  • The two subsections "Closure" and "Demolition" are unreferenced.
  • The "Ash removal" section has little in the way of WP:verify.

I suspect that the link to Values in the "Cooling system" may be a typo and that possibly "valves" was intended?Pyrotec (talk) 20:15, 3 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
