This map is severely inaccurate[edit]

This map is supposed to be from 1940 to 1941. It shows southern France and Tunisia as occupied by Italy, which did not occur until 1942 and even then, not all of Tunisia was occupied. Secondly it shows a huge section of Egypt as being Italian-occupied, Italo-German forces led by Rommel occupied a strip of Northwestern Egypt. Thirdly, it shows Italian East Africa as being in Italian possession at the same time as Italy entered the Balkans, Italian East Africa was crushed and occupied by British forces by 1941. Fourthly, the border between Italian-held Albania and Bulgarian-held Vardar Macedonia is completely inaccurate, Italian Albania made only small territorial acquisitions from Vardar Macedonia. Lastly, the line in the Balkans is misleading, Italy held a demarcation line between German and Italian military forces in the Independent State of Croatia but Croatia was considered independent. This map either has to be redone, or should not be used at all, it is extremely inaccurate at present.--R-41 (talk) 19:12, 4 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Not to mention it shows Germany/Austria and Poland with their present-day borders. 193.215.199.34 (talk) 13:46, 15 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
