English: USS Annapolis (AGMR-1) underway at slow speed in New York Harbor after leaving New York Naval Shipyard soon after completing conversion from USS Gilbert Islands (AKV-39, originally CVE-107). Staten Island ferryboats are in the left and center backgrounds.
