Summary

Description
English: This photo is exemplary of an early-stage version of the golden age of hand-colouring of photographs in the western hemisphere that occurred between 1900 and 1940. The availability of colour film stopped the production of hand-coloured photographs.
Britannia Village was previously know as Britannia-on-the-Bay and Britannia Bay. Note the spelling mistake on the postcard (Brittania).
