The subject has been dead for over 80 years. However, it is unclear whether the photographer had died before 1950. I have been unable to find an unambiguously free portrait of this person despite an extensive search

The source was offering neither the image nor the rights to its reproduction for sale. A search of photo agencies, including Getty Images has not turned up any instances of the reproduction rights to this image being offered for sale. The image is of very low resolution unsuitable for commercial reproduction.
