Čeština: Rudolf Toussaint (* 2. května 1891 v Egglkofenu u Mühldorfu - 2. října 1968 v Mnichově) V letech 1936 až 1938 působil jako vojenský a letecký přidělenec v Praze a Bukurešti. Dne 6. října 1941 byl přijat ve Vůdcově hlavním stanu u Rastenburgu, kde se zúčastnil soukromého hovoru s Adolfem Hitlerem o poměrech v Čechách. Zároveň byl jmenován zplnomocněncem Wehrmachtu v Praze. V roce 1943 byl genrálmajor Rudolf Toussaint převelen do Itálie a v červenci 1944 zpět do Protektorátu Čechy a Morava. Sehrál klíčovou roli v době pražské Květnové revoluce, kdy vedl jednání s vůdčími osobami Pražského květnového povstání 1945. Dne 8. května 1945 opustil Prahu. V dubnu 1947 byl Američany vydán do Československa a v říjnu 1948 byl odsouzen na doživotí (mimo jiné za vraždy civilistů při Pražském povstání). Z vězení byl propuštěn v roce 1961 výměnou za dva komunistické agenty. Zemřel 2. října 1968 v Mnichově. |
