Description
English: View of the stern of the U.S. Navy amphibious assault ship USS Tripoli (LPH-10) off Vietnam, in 1967. Four crewmembers from the attack transport USS Paul Revere (APA-248) painted a rabibit's head on the stern of Tripoli as Paul Revere's nickname was "Peter Rabbit".
Original description: "Tripoli's scurity patrol apprehended the "culprits" while they were applying the finishing touches. Although they refuesd to talk, it was deduced that the quartet was from the nearby Paul Revere. After a short period of "confinement" and "limited rations" of ice cream, the four were ccostumed in mattress covers and returned to the Paul Revere".
