Moist and creamy with a delightful tang from the blue veining leaving an aromatic and spicy aftertaste in the mouth.
Oxford Blue Cheese is the brainchild and product of Baron Robert Pouget of the Oxford Cheese Company. It is produced for him by Hartington Dairy and was first produced in 1994 with the intention of supplying Oxford University Colleges and the pubs and restaurants of Oxford.
The popularity of Oxford Blue soon took off, and the product was stocked not only in the intended area of Oxford, but in the flagship stores of London and further afield.
