English: Looking across to Kirkcaldy Town House, Kirkcaldy This is Kirkcaldy Town House in Wemyssfield, Kirkcaldy. Work began on the current town house on the foundations in 1937, only to be interrupted by the Second World War. The majority of the building was then completed in two stages between 1953 and 1956. In 1988, the town house was made a Category B listed building. Nowadays, the town house serves as the main council offices and register in Kirkcaldy.
