In 1974 the Caribbean island of Grenada issued this orange on white porcelain license plate celebrating it's independence fron colonial rule. Grenada only issued porcelain plates from 1971 to 1974. After 1974 new registrants went back to using undated plates with either handpainted numbers like the back of this plate or had them made up in the old British style like they did before 1971.
