Summary

Description
English: 1 -- classic bowline, 2 -- cowboy (or Dutch) bowline; both ones have the working end going around the standing end, but in the 1st knot the working end goes counterclockwise inside the loop, and in the 2nd knot -- clockwise, outside the loop.

3 -- Eskimo bowline, 4 -- Cossack knot; both have the working end going around the outgoing eye-leg, with the working end going counterclockwise inside the loop in 3rd, and clockwise, outside the loop in 4th.

Note that in the cases 1 and 2 the working end goes into the eye from below, and in the cases 3 and 4 -- from above.
Русский: 1 -- классический булинь, 2 -- голландский булинь; в обоих случаях ходовой конец охватывает коренной конец выше ушка, но в случае 1 охват идёт против часовой стрелки и ходовой конец входит в петлю, а в случае 2 -- по часовой стрелке, ходовой конец остаётся вне петли.

3 -- эскимосский булинь, 4 -- казачий узел. В обоих случаях ходовой конец охватывает часть каната ниже ушка, но в случае 3 охват идёт против часовой стрелки и ходовой конец входит в петлю, а в случае 4 -- по часовой стрелке, ходовой конец остаётся вне петли.

Следует отметить, что в 1-м и 2-м случаях ходовой конец вводится в ушко по направлению к себе (снизу), а в 3-м и 4-м -- от себя (сверху).
