English: Eglwys y Santes Fair, St Mary's Church, Llanfairynghornwy St Mary was a medieval dedication to a church established by St Pedyr Lanuaur in the 5thC. Parts of the present building date from the 12thC and even the most recent addition - the tower - was built before 1700. John Williams (the artist Kyffin Williams' great-great grandfather) was rector here for 53 years and his son, James Williams, of lifeboat fame, for 51 years.
