Description The Elliott School of International Affairs and the Gender Equality Initiative in International Affairs at George Washington University hosted a panel featuring three International Women of Courage (IWOC) honorees and Ambassador Reuben Brigety, Dean of the Elliott School. The IWOC award recognizes women around the globe who have demonstrated exceptional courage and leadership in advocating for peace, justice, human rights, gender equality, and women’s empowerment, often at great personal risk and sacrifice.
